Deeply rooted in the colorful Mexican culture and imagery, declared anti-minimalists and artists, Einar and Jamex De La Torre, present a new view on the classical deadly sin, Sloth.  Amongst other issues, they address the cliché on the lazy Mexican and the paradox that it is Mexicans, who take care of most of the hard, physical work in the southern part of the USA, which no-one else wants to do.

Collaborating artists/brothers, Einar and Jamex De La Torre, have works in numerous public and private collections and have been exhibited around the world at venues including The Museum of Glass: International Center for Contemporary Art in Tacoma, WA, California State University In Fullerton, Los Angeles, the Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard, CA, the Los Angeles Museum of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, The Chrysler Museum of Art, The Tucson Museum of Art, Glazenhuis – Glass Museum, Lommel, Belgium, The National Glass Centre in Sunderland, United Kingdom and most recently at the Glass Museum in Ebeltoft, Denmark.
