DeMello’s colored pencil drawings are gestural marks inspired by long drives from his home to work. DeMello used the opportunity of being in congested traffic to look – from the marks on the pavement to the leftover paint from vehicles having hit dividers, the drawings mark the paper with swift movements and intentionally don’t stay within the bounds
